Amber is the fossilized resin of a pine tree found in different areas of the world, including the Baltic region. Various traditions ascribe many healing and positive qualities to these ancient stones, including clarity, removal of obstacles, growth, vitality and inspiration.

Greetings! My name is Anastasia Gaisenok (she/her).

I was born and raised in Belarus, the territory which was once shared by Slavic and Baltic tribes. For the past two decades, I have worked on many different change initiatives and social issues both in Canada and globally. I engaged with teachers, students, governments, community groups, social service agencies, labour unions and others in various leadership roles held with non-profit organizations, coalitions and advisory groups. I currently reside in the beautiful territory of the  kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) people, known as Coquitlam, BC.

The Why

The Approach

All our work is relational: this is the foundation. The recognition of the need to see each other as full human beings and understand others’ perspectives helps us to come together across differences and to move forward. This is how we are able to collaborate and co-create with integrity.

A critical social analysis that recognizes the role of power and privilege is essential for not replicating the injustices of the many failed systems; this awareness needs to inform the design and the practice of everything we do.

None of us hold complete answers to the constantly evolving and increasingly complex challenges. However, collectively, we hold great wisdom and power that we can harness through strong relationships and a good process.

More and more people are waking up to the reality of broken social, political and economic systems, as well as the disastrous effects of climate change and other ecological crises. I'm dedicated to supporting innovative leaders and forward-looking organizations working towards our collective good through the kind of process and approach that brings transformational change on all levels.
